Bradley C. Guin is a seasoned appellate and complex commercial litigator. His practice focuses on writs and appeals, commercial disputes, and government contract disputes. He has extensive experience in drafting and arguing persuasive appeal briefs and motions, writ applications, amicus briefs, and dispositive motions before state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies.
Brad also maintains a public sector practice and regularly represents governmental bodies. His expertise covers key areas such as public bidding and procurement procedures, procurement disputes, sunshine laws, and public–private partnerships.
Brad earned his Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law degrees from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center, graduating cum laude. While in law school, he served as Managing Editor of the Louisiana Law Review. He was also honored as an Hebert Scholar and Dean’s Scholar, and with several academic awards, including CALI Awards (highest grade) in Constitutional Law I, Louisiana Civil Procedure I, and Legal Research & Writing II.
Brad's legal scholarship, which has primarily focused on civil procedure and remedies, has been published in the Louisiana Law Review and the Tulane Law Review and cited in briefing before the Louisiana Supreme Court.
Brad is also active in the Baton Rouge community, where he serves as a Young Lawyer Fellow of the Louisiana Bar Foundation, a member of the Baton Rouge Bar Association, a member of the Public Affairs Research Council of Louisiana, and a board member of the U.S. Selective Service Local Board. He is also a member of the LSBA Appellate Section and Scribes - The American Society of Legal Writers.
In his free time, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife and son, reading, and running.

- Lemoine Co. v. Ernest N. Morial Exhibition Hall Auth., 23-00775 (La. 10/17/23), 372 So. 3d 326 - Successfully defended public entity in $300 million public works dispute and obtained writ of certiorari from Louisiana Supreme Court and reversal of unfavorable court of appeal decision in first-of-its-kind Public Bid Law case involving the construction manager at risk (CMAR) method.
- Verida, Inc. v. Div. of Admin., 23-1259 (La. App. 1 Cir. 5/31/24), 391 So. 3d 1061, writ denied, 24-00955 (La. 11/14/24), ___ So. 3d ____, 2024 WL 4778122 - Represented successful bidder on state contract and obtained reversal of unfavorable trial court judgment in court of appeal.
- Tower Credit, Inc. v. Williams, 22-01556 (La. 2/7/23), 354 So. 3d 659; Cox, Cox, Filo, Camel & Wilson, LLC v. La. Workers’ Comp. Corp., 21-005666 (La. 3/25/22), 338 So. 3d 1148 - Drafted amicus curiae briefs in support of applications for writs of certiorari on behalf of a statewide trade group; in both cases, the Louisiana Supreme Court granted writs and issued favorable rulings.
- Stansbury v. McCarty Corp., 2020-9901 (Civ. Dist. Ct. 7/28/23) - Obtained summary judgment in favor of insurer on coverage issue in toxic tort case.
